Objectives:

The objective of this tutorial is to show to attendees new methods based on Interaction Design process and tool for creating new User Experience for mobile application

Content and Benefits:

"How to design UX for mobile application: methods and tools" is a tutorial which will show to attendees new methods and methodology for developing innovative user experiences with mobile application. Nowadays, mobile app are used for different purposes in hour daily activities, form messages to home and appliances control.
Since these are often connected with different aspects, even important ones in the user's life, optimizing the experience to minimize errors and at the same time increase the ease of use of the software is very important.
Starting from this condition, presenters would like to show the path and methodology used by designers and engineer in order to create new outstanding mobile application.
Mobile applications are tools for users, for this reason users should be at the center of development phase; presenters will start form user’s analysis, user expert tools showing how to extract data which can be used to create the information architecture and wireframe.
Then, by means of quantitative tools, presenter will show how to test and acquire data on the usability, reliability and goodness in general. By means of two software, presenters will bring the attendees in the path of a real application development, demonstrating how to create the UI for the app and how to create an Hi-fidelity prototype that make use of sensors (both smartphone sensors and external hardware).
